Camping in Tanzania
is a truly rewarding experience. We offer a wide selection
of affordable adventure Camping Safaris to the heart of
Tanzania. Our Tanzania Wildlife Camping Safaris takes you
to the popular Northern Safari Circuit, which includes the
Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and the National Parks of Lake
Manyara, Tarangire, Arusha and Mt. Kilimanjaro. We also
have a number of camping safaris to Southern Circuit visiting
Ruaha and Selous National Parks and departing from Dar es
salaam.
Though the safari shown below are scheduled departures,
please note that they only depart with a minimum of 2 participants.
Please note that we also organise private camping trips,
whereby only you and your travel partner(s) will be on the
camping adventure safari! This increases privacy and we
can organise that tour for you on a date of your choice!

| The Detailed
Camping Safari Itinerary: |

|
|
Day 1:
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
0900hrs: Pick up from your overnight accommodation in
Arusha. Leaving in our 4x4 jeeps loaded with camping supplies,
Tarangire National Park, is the first National park on
our safari, after a 2 hours drive, we enter this park
famous for its many Elephants and Bao Bab trees. Lunch
at our campsite base. Game Driving until dusk. We camp
just outside the park, close enough to go to sleep listening
to the sounds of the African night. Overnight at our special
campsite in Tarangire National Park (Full Board)
Day 2: Lake Manyara National
Park
Enjoy an early game drive in Tarangire National Park visiting
the Tarangire river to watch the animals as they assemble
for a drink. This afternoon en-route to Lake Manyara National
Park at the bottom of the western wall of the spectacular
Great Rift Valley for a afternoon Game Drive before camping
in Mto Wa Mbu (mosquito creek) just outside the park (Full
Board)
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park is our destination today! The
most famous of all wildlife sanctuarys in Africa! and
home to the largest migration of wildlife in Africa. We
enter and Game Drive our way to camp near Seronera River
inside the park. Lunch at our special campsite, afternoon
enjoy a short game viewing drive in search of the big
five and before retiring to the campsite for a dinner
and overnight (Full Board).
Day 4: Serengeti
National Park
A full day of exciting game search full of sheer pleasure
in the Serengeti National Park, game Driving with over
14.000. square kms to explore in our search for the best
that nature has to offer! Camp at Seronera campsite (Full
Board)
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation
Area
Morning game drive in in the Serengeti National Park we
rise at dawn, taking a tip from the wildlife that use
this time to hunt. This afternoon en-route to Ngorongoro
Crater, now a world heritage site and a famous conservation
area, we stop at Oldupai Gorge to visit the 'Cradle Of
Mankind'. Tonight we camp at 2.300m on the rim of the
crater. It can be chilly! (Full Board)
Day 6: Ngorongoro
Crater Conservation Area
Ngorongoro Crater is a world heritage site! we descend
2000ft down the crater in a 4wheel drive vehicle, we spend
the maximum of six hours allowed game driving in this
the worlds largest Caldera (collapsed volcano) amongst
the circa 30,000. resident animals. We drive up again
to the crater rim and continue to tonights camp in Karatu
just outside the conservation area in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 7: Back To Arusha, Overnight
After breakfast go for a morning game viewing drive in
Tarangire National Park. Return to camp for lunch before
you depart for Arusha. En-route to Arusha, we shall have
ample time to stop and buy some of the Makonde carvings
for which Tanzania is so famous. Also for those who wish
a chance to stop at Mesarani Snake Park to see the snakes
that are normally difficult to see in the wild due to
their natural shyness. We spend our last night at the
New L'Oasis - Lodge and Restaurant near Kilimanjaro International
Airport (Full Board).
Day 8: Airport Transfer + Depart
After breakfast transfer to Kilimanjaro International
Airport for those returning home. Optional extensions
available to Zanzibar or Mount Kilimanjaro / Mount Meru
