Day 1: Nairobi - Nairobi Serena Hotel
Arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport, met and greeted in our traditional style by uniformed AfriChoice! representatives, transfer to your city hotel. An hour after checking, we take you on a city orientation tour that takes you through the Central Business District viewing the shopping areas, parliament buildings, Conference Centre ( KICC) and the Railway station and many of Nairobi's modern and historical buildings. Our city tour also takes you to places of interest such as the View Point to get a panaromic view of the city, National Museums of Kenya, the famous snake park and the colourful city market. Day 2: Nairobi / Mount Kenya
Drive through the fertile central highlands to SERENA MOUNTAIN LODGE on the flanks of Kenya’s highest mountain and secreted deep within her largest forest reserve. Fall asleep to the symphony of the African night or sit in stillness and observe the fascinating interplay of the animals as they arrive to drink, bathe, spar and forage around the water hole. (BLD)

Day 3: Mount Kenya / Sweetwaters Game Reserve
Awake to the trumpeting of elephant before we continue to Sweetwaters Game Reserve for a game drive and a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP (BLD)

Day 4: Thu: Sweetwaters Game Reserve/Masai Mara Game Reserve
Fly across the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve, the highlight of any East African safari. Afternoon game drive. MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE (BLD)

Day 5: Fri: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. A balloon safari is also available (additional cost).

Day 6: Sat: Masai Mara Game Reserve/Nairobi / Arusha
Enjoy one last morning game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve before returning to Nairobi by air. Upon arrival, connect with your flight to Tanzania. Overnight SERENA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE. (BD)

Day 7: Arusha / Lake Manyara National Park
Travel to Lake Manyara National Park, and the LAKE MANYARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE, which is located on the edge of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. (BLD)

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on the grassy plains, as do giraffes, some of which are so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance. (BLD)

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
Ascend through the highlands to the very rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Situated on the crater’s rim, NGORONGORO SERENA SAFARI LODGE offers a magnificent view of the crater below. From there, descend into the crater for game viewing. Vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, and their predators—the big cats—roam the crater floor. (BLD)

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater/Olduvai Gorge / Serengeti National Park
Visit Olduvai Gorge, an archeological site extensively excavated by the Leakeys. Continue to Serengeti National Park, where huge herds of wildebeests, antelopes and zebras provide an unequalled wildlife spectacle. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. SERENGETI SERENA SAFARI LODGE (BLD)

Day 11: Serengeti National Park

Day 12: Serengeti National Park / Depart
This will be your final opportunity to bask in the unmatched grandeur of the African safari lands, before you fly to Arusha for lunch. A day room is provided at SERENA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE before you transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight. (BL)

Day 13: Serengeti - Arusha (approximately 1½ hours), Nairobi
Today you’ll depart, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival into Arusha you’ll have lunch before being dropped off at Kilimanjaro Airport to catch the flight to Nairobi. From here, you will be transferred for your onward arrangements.
