ACCS7A: Kenya Camping Safari (8 Days / 7 Nights)
This safari takes you to the Kenya's finest game reserve, Masai Mara, that is now one of the new wonders of the world, Lake Nakuru National Park know for its huge concentration of flamingos, Samburu Game Reserve and Amboseli National Park near Mt. Kilimanjaro. This Kenya Adventure Camping safari is designed for those clients who are on a low travel budget and ready to take a safari adventure in a camping style saving them the money they would otherwise spend on expensive hotels and lodges. Detailed Safari Itinerary - Daily Departures

DAY 1: Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve
Depart Nairobi and drive North past coffee plantations via Mt. Kenya and accross the equator to Samburu National Park. Picnic lunch and game drive enroute. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 2: Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve
Full day of game viewing in the Park. Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, Mid-morning game viewing, Afternoon game view drive. Despite being so far flung, the reserve harbours a number of species rarely found anywhere else. Among these are Grevy's zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the beisa oryx, all of which are only found north of the equator. All Meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 3: Samburu - Lake Nakuru National Park
08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a game drive round Lake Nakuru to view flamingoes, water buck, buffaloes etc. The flamingoes at Lake Nakuru are often described as the 'WORLD'S GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE'. After bird and game viewing check into a hotel with private shower/toilet for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara
10.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en route. On arrival, proceed for a game drive in search of black maned lion, elephants, leopard and cheetah, buffalo and other plains games. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: Full Day in Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives from the comfortable base of the camp, explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. All meals and overnight at the Campsite.

DAY 6: Masai Mara - Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Early breakfast and depart to Nairobi to arrive for lunch at a city restaurant. Afternoon drive South to Namanga, the Kenya/Tanzania border to arrive in time for a game drive in the Amboseli National Park with a possibility of seeing game on the way to the campsite. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

DAY 7: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Full day of game viewing in the Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. Meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 8: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi
Depart from the camp in the morning and drive north while viewing game and make a stopover at Narok town with a chance to buy a souvenir or a cup of tea to arrive back in by late afternoon.
