Camping in Tanzania
is a truly rewarding experience. We offer a wide selection
of affordable adventure Camping Safaris to the heart of
Tanzania. Our Tanzania Wildlife Camping Safaris takes you
to the popular Northern Safari Circuit, which includes the
Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and the National Parks of Lake
Manyara, Tarangire, Arusha and Mt. Kilimanjaro. We also
have a number of camping safaris to Southern Circuit visiting
Ruaha and Selous National Parks and departing from Dar es
salaam.
Though the safari shown below are scheduled departures,
please note that they only depart with a minimum of 2 participants.
Please note that we also organise private camping trips,
whereby only you and your travel partner(s) will be on the
camping adventure safari! This increases privacy and we
can organise that tour for you on a date of your choice!

| The Detailed
Camping Safari Itinerary: |
|
|
|
Day
1: Ngorongoro Crater & Conservation Area
08.00 hrs: Tour starts from Nairobi and we offer free pick
up from any city centre hotel. Leave Nairobi with the shuttle
for Arusha via Namanga (immigration) arriving into Arusha
around 13.00 hrs. Participants starting from Arusha should
be ready by 13.00hrs. Pickup picnic lunch and proceed to
Ngorongoro campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater &
Conservation Area
After breakfast you will be taken 2000ft down the crater
by a 4wheel drive vehicle for a full day crater tour, picnic
lunch at crater. Explore the crater before ascending back
to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Depart after breakfast to Serengeti passing through Olduvai
Gorge the site for Leakey’s family discoveries of fossils
of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two
million years. Meals and overnight at campsite.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Full day in Serengeti plains, search for wild game you might
have missed the previous game drives. Morning and afternoon
game drives. Meals and overnight at campsite.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast leave Serengeti with picnic lunch for Lake
Manyara. On arrival proceed for a game drive in search of
lions on trees. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Back To Arusha / Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time.
If going to Nairobi, after lunch leave Arusha with the shuttle
for Nairobi, immigration and customs at Namanga, arriving
into Nairobi around 18.30 hrs. Free drop-off to hotels within
city centre. |

locally and can be purchased in Africa upon arrival. However,
